Abstract: Herein, we describe a metal-free, iodosobenzene diacetate mediated trans-aziridination of zerumbone by the direct use of sulfonamides. Preliminary in vitro screening showed that the synthesized compounds had better antiproliferative and antidiabetic activities than the parent compound zerumbone.
