Abstract:
Polytetrafluroethylene (PTFE)–Mg2SiO4 composites havebeenpreparedusingbothmicronandnano-ceramic fillers byhotpressing.The
dielectric propertiesofthecompositesareinvestigatedbothatradioandmicrowavefrequencyrangesasafunctionof filler loadingupto

treatment. Thesurfacemodification reducedporosityandmoistureabsorptionandimprovedthemicrohardness.TheCTEofthecomposite
decreased andthermalconductivityincreasedwith filler loading.NanopowdersofMg2SiO4 has alsobeenpreparedbysol–gel methodand
